Stepping into the shoes of an Innkeeper and or Manager for short term or long term is a delicate task. Experience in all
aspects of the Bed and Breakfast Inn industry and having boundless energy and outgoing nature, and experience in marketing
and sales and the ability to see the whole picture will help you to enjoy your time with confidence and professionalism. In
addition having the skills of a gourmet cook, wine enthusiast, and strong computer background skills, along with electrician,
plumbing and general carpentry are also a tremendous asset.
Having the ability to adapt to new marketing strategies, hospitality techniques and various budgeting approaches along with
the traditional Bed and Breakfast Inn day to day operation. and problem solving makes for a successful interim Innkeeper.
Will you be available anywhere in the entire United States, or the Caribbean by appointment or short notice. Will you be able
to arrive a day or before your agreed upon start-date (no cost to you) to be familiarized with all aspects of your Inn or
Bed and Breakfast Inn. This is a necessary experience for your personal methods of operation, including marketing,
reservations, housekeeping, cooking, area attractions, dining and entertainment, records management, computer system and
software, mechanical workings and any idiosyncrasies of the property.
